Gutemalian journalist escapes gun attack
Winder Jordán Madrid, a Gutemalian journalist and a news director for Radio Sultana, escaped death, when two unidentified men attempted to shoot him as he was getting out of his car near his parents’ home. Jordán managed to duck behind some trees while the two masked men rode by on motorcycles and opened up a machine gun. Days before the shooting, he was threatened with death for publishing an article which revealed that a man involved in a road accident was a student driver. Two sisters of the man threatened Jordán with death in his own home. Jordán has filed many complaints.
